Seth "Scump" Abner is an American competitive Call of Duty player, currently the team captain for OpTic Gaming.

Scump (under the ID "Scumpii") began playing competitively in Call of Duty: Black Ops. His first championship win was at MLG Dallas 2011 together with Aches, Bobby and Teepee on Quantic LeveraGe. He won Anaheim and placed Top 6 throughout the 2011 MLG Pro Circuit season.

When competitive Call of Duty switched to Modern Warfare 3, Scumpii left Quantic and joined OpTic Gaming. Scumpii and his team would go on to be allegedly the most dominate team in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. He stayed on with OpTic Gaming for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, though the team's performance was not as great as before.

In January 2014 during the Call of Duty: Ghosts season, Scumpii left OpTic Gaming to join Team EnVyUs due to problems in the team house between himself and Nadeshot. Less than three weeks later, he rejoined OpTic Gaming. The team had very inconsistent results for the rest of the Call of Duty: Ghosts season, but they managed to take a 3rd place finish at Activision's 2014 Call of Duty Championship and win the MLG X Games Invitational. Sometime in mid-2014, Scumpii shortened his name to "Scump".

OpTic Scump and his team had a dominant start for the first few months of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season, but suffered a disappointing 7th place finish at the 2015 Call of Duty Championship. As a result, Nadeshot – the captain of OpTic Gaming – announced his retirement from competitive Call of Duty, and Scump becoming the new team captain. His team dominated LAN tournaments for the rest of the season. Scump was also the MVP of Seasons 1 and 2 of the MLG Pro League for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and the only player with back-to-back victories at the MLG X Games.

At the 2016 eSports Industry Awards, Scump was named "Console Player of the Year", beating out his teammate Crimsix as well as finalists from other competitive scenes such as Justin Wong, Hungrybox, ZeRo, and Royal 2.

Going into Black Ops 3, Scump and his team would stick together, and be the favorite for most events. Scump would then win 5 events that year, but yet again fall at Call of Duty XP Championships 2016, and place 7/8.

Headed into Infinite Warfare, Scump and his team would yet again stick together, and be the favorites for most events. Scump would then win 4 events that year including the highly sought after Call of Duty Championships 2017, cementing him and his team as the greatest Call of Duty team of all time, also cementing him as the greatest Call of Duty player to ever play.
