Justin Wong is an American fighting game player, currently playing Street Fighter V as a Karin main. He is well-known for his ability to comeback against seemingly impossible odds during fighting game matches, appropriately named the "Wong Factor". He is currently a part of Echo Fox's fighting game divison.

One of Justin Wong's more notable matches was at Evo 2004 during the Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Losers Bracket Final match against Daigo Umehara, where he lost to a dramatic comeback referred to as the "Daigo Parry".

In 2009, Justin not only broke the world record for longest fighting game win streak (300-0), but also took won the GameStop Street Fighter IV US National Tournament, seeding him into the semi-finals of Evo 2009. He beat 4 opponents and had to start the next day by playing against Daigo. On the third and the last day, Daigo defeated Justin and put him into the losers bracket. Justin bounced back and had his rematch with him in the grand finals. He changed his character from Abel to Balrog to counter Daigo's signature Ryu. The two fought until the last game possible, but Justin ultimately lost the competition. The grand finals was reported to have peaked at more than 23,000 users watching the match being streamed online. With the growth of the fighting game community and following the launch of Street Fighter IV, he quickly became renowned as the best Street Fighter player in the United States of America, with top placements in almost every tournament he attended.

In 2012, Justin had multiple 1st place finishes at CEO 2012, UFGT 8, Toryuken 2012, SBO 2012, and Canada Cup 2012 and second-place finishes at East Coast Throwdown IV, Winter Brawl 6, and Final Round XV, playing both Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. His win at SBO 2012 in particular made him the first American player to be crowned the champion at a Super Battle Opera (Tougeki) event.

In 2013, he continued to perform spectacularly with multiple top-3 finishes at CEO 2013, East Coast Throwdown V, Winter Brawl 7, and EVO 2013.

At the beginning of 2017, Justin left Evil Geniuses and joined Echo Fox.

In addition to his performances at fighting game events, Justin has also appeared in more mainstream media such as MTV News, the 2009 Spike TV Videogame Awards, and was a contestant in 2010 on the reality TV series WCG Ultimate Gamer. His name was entered twice into the Guinness World Records for his accomplishments at the Evolution Championship Series; one of the records was for winning the most Evolution tournaments of a single game (Marvel vs. Capcom 2) between the years of 2002 and 2010, and the other record was for winning the most Evolution tournaments of any game between the years of 2002 and 2014. Outside of his pro-gaming career, Justin Wong is a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at nVidia.
