So this is intended to be a thread for desired features.

adding "AWARD" as a 'Ranking Text'. What for? Lets take a look at the current state of OGN LoL tournaments here: http://www.esportsearnings.com/organizations/142-ongamenet-lol
You may notice, that in Winter 2012 the Award section (MVP and KDA leaders) is implemented as its own tournament while for the later editions its implemented in the main tournament. When being a implemented in the main tournament, the ranking texts currently used for such awards are either "-" or "WIN" cuz there are no better alternatives.
This leads to irritating player profile pages like e.g. Faker where a person not familiar with the above mentioned facts could easily think its a mistake, that a tournament is added more than once. By adding "AWARD" as the Ranking text I think it would be a lot clearer. This could also be used for Proleague and other events with a paid MVP or other types of awards of course. -
While the first thing is only a small thing that should be easily implemented, it leads me to another wish: At the player page it should be noted with which team a player placed in a tournament. Obviously this only applies to team tournaments. The only downside to this that I can see is, that it demands space. This could lead to some design trouble that I cant really assess. However this is probably the feature I miss most on this site from a visitors point of view [not from a developers pov].

Ranking list of game serieses. This is pretty much a straight forward idea however I'm not sure how easy it is to add: The question is basically: "Who won the most money in Counter Strike" instead of "Who won the most money CS1.6"/"... CSS"/"... CS:GO". Same for FIFA, Trackmania, both StarCrafts, Halo, CoD.... whatever.

A list of tournaments with incomplete information for developers. So basically every tournament which has players with 0 $ prize money for Single player tournaments and every tournament with teams with missing lineups and/or teams with 0$ prize money.

A list of the players with the most tournaments in the database. This would be a cool stat as I have no clue who that would be. I saw players with >100 but I'm curious how much more there is and i dont wanna click on 20000 player pages.
- the Season 1 LoL World Championship was played at the DreamHack Summer
- the GSL Seasons 2013 and 14 were also part of the WCS
- the WCS Finals were played at Blizzcon
- the European Qualifier for the Season 2 Worlds in LoL were also an IEM Event
- some DreamHack 2006 CS stuff was also part of the World Series of Video Games
Logically those events belong into both of those categories i marked in italic, but currently thats impossible to implement and very confusing if you are looking for something specific by using the Organizations menu.
Thats all for today, I still have a few more but this seem to be some of the more important ones. Feel free to give feedback and add your own wishes.
Regards
It would be nice to have an "edit" button as admins on any page. It makes it easier and quicker to fix a mistake.
Cheers
One feature that comes to mind is the ability to see lan/online winnings in games. This should be fairly easy to implement, as online tournaments locations are either "online" or "Online"?
In CS scene saying someone is "online" is kind of insult, in that in online play cheating is more common. Maybe you could even see the percentage of winnings that are from online play?

Done. Looks like f0rest is on top: http://www.esportsearnings.com/players/most_tournament_results
I'd personally love to see the ability to display brackets & groups. That would add a bit more insight into the tourny then just results.
I think search by "game" option could be really handy on the search page.
http://www.esportsearnings.com/search
Edit: Also it would be handy if the search would find players if we typed their real name instead of nick.
"adding "AWARD" as a 'Ranking Text'. "
bump. this shouldnt be a lot of effort to implement and will increase the intelligibility by a lot imo (see explaination above).
A nice feature to have would be the ability to sort tournaments by 1st class, 2nd class and 3rd class(I think teamliquid has something similar)
Basically:
Tournaments with <10k usd 1st place prize will be 3rd class. Tournaments with >=10k usd, <30k usd 1st place prize will be 2nd class. Tournaments with >=30k usd 1st place prize will be 1st class.
that will provide some nice extra info about players
Could you add a game filter on the earnings by country ? Would be nice to be able to have only CSGO players per country, or Dota, etc.
Cheers
It already exists:
http://esportsearnings.com/games/231-dota-2/countries
http://esportsearnings.com/games/245-counter-strike-global-offensive/countries
should we add sth like "Date of Death" as an option for player profiles? There are actually a few cases, e.g. a SC:BW player died to leukemia ~2011 and Warcraft player "Deadman" [kinda ironic...] from russia also was found dead very recently.
also could you give a reply on wheter you plan to look at some of the other proposed ideas or if there are other priorities atm
Option to list the events for a game per specific time period insted of the year. So you can see how much prizemoney was earned in a season.
So for example you can show events in LoL: Season 5 2014-10-20 till today, Season 4 - 2013-10-05 till 2014-10-19, Season 3: 2012-10-14 till 2013-10-04, Season 2- 2011-06-21 till 2012-10-13, Season 1 - 2010-10-03 till 2011-06-20 and then compare how much it has grown
It would be nice if when you're in "browse events" of a game, when you click on an event, you're immediately taken to the tournament page, and not the event page. When you scroll CS:GO events, you want the CS:GO tournament, it makes sense imo.

The reason I did it like that is because I don't want every single little cup listed and bloat up the page. I am planning improvements on those pages anyway, so I'll take it into consideration.

A bit complicated to do, but I'll see what I can come up with.
Can you add a dropdown menu to add "players of the same series" and "players of the same genre"? Currently there's only an option to add any player in the entire database, and 20000 entries takes a while to load.
Also along those lines it would be interesting to display the aggregate earnings for game series and genres.
