If i had to add a LAN event which had several game tournaments, how do I do it? Like this for example: http://www.esportsearnings.com/events/1664-dreamhack-winter-2013
I noticed that you did some weird double squads like "CS:S / CS:GO" for some teams. I think it would be better to just split them, even though they kept the same team (like fnatic from 1.6 to CS:GO), just put the date of their first tournament on the new game as their join date.
Some teams got CS 1.6, CS:S and CS:GO squads, so it's better to split everything imo.
as I'm not allowed to doublepost in the existing thread [maybe make it so that doubleposts are only forbidden within a day, as it sems kinda meh to make a new thread for this] a few notes:
I added some of the Brood War era Proleagues seasons. Those are the only ones I could find any prize money information for, however they are probably incomplete. Its just everything I could find in the deeps of the internet and I searched quite a lot. Maybe Kespa didnt even released prize money details at all even in Korea, idk. However to avoid confusion I'd like to have a template which states, that the Proleague information is incomplete just like it is (was ?) for e.g. Fighting Games as there is little to no hope this will ever change. I'm thinking about also adding the missing Results without any prize money information so you can see at the player pages that those tournaments existed though.
Feel free to comment if you have any remarks or ideas how to handle this cases.

Are the dates of a player's time on a team designed to be inclusive or exclusive? The problem I'm dealing with is that most of the roster transactions in the MLG Halo era were unannounced until the next month's tournament. So if Player A is listed as having spent 2005-05 to 2006-08 on Carbon, will all or no events on those end months be included on the team earnings? For now I've been assuming that end dates ARE included.
The publishing queue is getting larger and larger. How we want to fix this. Maybe we need a second guy who can check the tournaments.
Can NHL '94 please be added to the game list? There's a big yearly tournament now (112 players came out in September http://www.kingof94.com)
Thanks
The solution I've come up with so far is adding an "override" which allows you designate a team placement to a specific squad on a team. This will force the algorithm to ignore the players on the team for the team calculations. There will also be an option to force the algorithm to associate the players to that squad for the player calculations. It seems kind of a "bandaidy" solution, but that's the best I can come up with so far. Thoughts?
It's just an idea at this point. If it sounds good to you, I should have it up fairly soon.
Looking for ppl that are active in this game.

you have one of the highest reported websites through search
can you please take a day out of your life and add a picture for every player?
i know the canned cop outs- so if you even respond with a decline tell me why please.
dbl post: look at facebook, linkedin, any dating site
they all tell you to add a picture to increase your page views x%, increase your messages x%
can you add pictures to add to the validity/interest/relatibility of esports players so that non-players who search see a face to the name
The biggest problem I'm having in regards to photos is that we don't have the rights or the permission to use them. Many of the photos we do have use a Creative Commons license, or are photos I take myself at events. A few organizations have given us permission to use their photos, but most of our requests do not get a response or are flat-out denied.

I tried to reach out to the Dota 2 community, but came out empty-handed.
Sites like Liquipedia have photos for almost every player mainly because they have many contributors and also have permission to use photos from several organizations. This website does not have that. I would like to have more player photos added, but we have to respect copyright law.
Hey folks :)
First of all I have to put a small disclaimer in here: I know that some people appreciate what I do and some people absolutely don't. If you are one of the guys that don't appreciate it, I am sorry for insulting you with my stuff...
I am a 25 yo researcher that has his research focus on eSports. ESports hasn't got any great popularity in science yet but we (me and "my" research group) are trying to change this.
For the current project we created a survey.
--> http://unipark.de/uc/LfM/bf16/
It would be amazing if one or two of you would participate in this survey (do a good deed every day ;))
The survey is a bit longer and will take around 10-15 minutes. Don't be confused if there are some "strange" questions...^^
If you have any questions regarding the survey or if you are interested in the research project in general, feel free to ask.
greetings, Froop
