I'm trying to add a Halo 3 single tournament, but the players on the 16-64th positions are not known.

How do you just add the prize money ?

I would just mention in the description the prize breakdowns for those placements and the fact that players for them are not known. Halo is one of those communities that just doesn't care about their own competitive history, so they never bothered to record anything.

one could still add the option to add a "dummy player" which then should not show up in any satistics, just so that the total prize pool of the tournament is still accurate. I did something similar here http://www.esportsearnings.com/tournaments/6249-wargaming-world-of-tanks-grand-finals with a "dummy team" but for single player tournaments its impossible atm.
