GeoGuessr World Cup 2024 EMEA Finals

The GeoGuessr 2024 EMEA Finals was a qualifier for the European, Middle East, and African Regions that qualified 10 players to move onto the GeoGuessr World Cup 2024. Of the 16 players, 9 qualified directly for the regional finals based on their placement in the 2023 GeoGuessr World Cup and 7 were selected through the EMEA prequalifications based on performance in the qualification challenges with nationalities taken into account to assure a diverse lineup in the World Final 2024.

THE TOURNAMENT FORMAT

GROUP STAGE: All players will play each opponent in their group once, in Best of 3 games format. Order of game modes: Moving, No Move, NMPZ

The top two players in each group advance to the the single elimination quarterfinals, and are also automatically qualified to the World Cup finals in September

The third placed players qualify for bo5 Last Chance games. The two winners of those games qualify for the World Cup finals in September

In the Last Chance game, the third placed player from Group A will play the third placed player from Group B. The third placed player from Group C will play the third placed player from Group D.

FINAL DAY FORMAT: Single elimination quarterfinals are played in Best of 3 games format with a best of 5 format for the finals. The Last chance qualifiers are played separately from the single elimination bracket. Order of game modes: Moving, No Move, NMPZ for Bo3. Moving, No Move, Moving, No Move, NMPZ for Bo5.
