Players

Player Info

The "Player Info" tab summarizes the player data.

Options

  • Edit Player Info
    Open the "Edit Player Info" form.

  • Change Player Photo
    Change the photo used on the player's main page.

  • Send Player to Recycle Bin / Retrieve Player from Recycle Bin
    Send the player data to the Recycle Bin to delete the changes. Published player will be unaffected. If already in the Recycle Bin, this will retrieve the data and re-assign it to the current contributor.

  • View Published Player
    View currently published player information. Disabled when adding a new player.

  • Send Player To Publishing Queue / Publish Player Immediately
    Send the player data to the Publishing Queue once all changes to the player are complete. If you have publishing privileges, you can publish the player data immediately.

  • Go to Publishing Queue
    Navigate to the Publishing Queue page.

  • Return to Main Admin Page
    Navigate back to the main menu.

Edit Player Info

  • Name
    Full name of the player. Use first, middle, last, and suffix where applicable. If a player's first or last names are missing, use a dash (-). If the player has their name spelled in non-romanized characters, add it to Unicode Name.

  • Current ID
    The current nickname, gamer tag, or in-game name that the player is known as.

  • Date of Birth
    The date when the player was born. Used to calculate prize money based on age.

  • Date of Death
    If the player is deceased, the date when the player died.

  • Country
    The player's home-country.

  • Attributes
    Attributes associated with player data. Check Show Last Name First if a player's full name is formatted with the family name shown first. Check Show Korean Age to show a player's calculated korean age. Check Player Requested Privacy to indicate that the player wanted their name removed from their profile. All other attributes are used for showing players in attribute-based listings.

  • Biogrpahy
    The biography of the player. This is used to supplement the information on the player in paragraph form. The Parsedown language can be used to format the text.

  • Hide Player
    Indicates whether or not the player is hidden on the site. Hidden players are not viewable in the public areas of the site, and is excluded from calculations. Useful for hiding duplicate players and malicious additions, and can be made visible again if need be.

  • Summary of Changes
    Describes the changes made to this particular revision of the data.


Player IDs

Lists all the known in-game IDs that the player has used.

  • In-game Name
    The text of the ID or in-game name that the player has used.

  • (Remove Player ID)
    This will delete the respective player ID.


Game Roles

Lists all the default roles that a player is associated with in a game. Not every game has roles. When selecting this player for tournament earnings, you can select <use player default> to add the roles listed here for the respective game.

  • Add Default Game Roles
    Select the game from the dropdown menu. If the game has roles, the checkboxes will appear on the side where they can be selected.

References

The References tab allows you to view and modify references that provide evidence of the data's legitimacy. References associated with specific tournament results should be added to their respective tournament or event data, not in the player data.

  • Reference URL
    The webpage on which evidence of the player's information has been published.

  • Reliable Source?
    Indicates whether or not the provided reference can be considered reliable.

Player References

  • (Remove Reference)
    This will delete the respective reference.

Squad References

Any squad references associated with this player will be shown here. Squad references cannot be changed here.


Player Results

A read-only list of all the tournament results associated with the player.


Team History

A read-only list of all the teams associated with the player.
