Articles Will Now Be Written For Esports Earnings

A new feature has now been implemented into the site, but it's more of a personal feature than something for the Development Area. Articles will now be written for the site to further add to its content.

This is something I've always wanted to add to Esports Earnings for years, but I've been busy with other things for the site. I've had some heated discussions on other forums in the past, Reddit in particular. I also saw other writers in esports using Medium or Twitlonger as a way to post their own articles. Instead of spending the time writing several-paragraph comments on someone else's site, I figured it would be better take the extra step to drive that traffic to Esports Earnings and allow me to diversify the site's content.

This will also make posting updates to the site easier. Before this, update news on the main page of the Developer Area was posted in a single text file that I had to manually upload to the web server. Since the articles will use the same system, I can post these updates from my browser.

Writing articles is something I've wanted to do for a while. I'm definitely not becoming a writer full-time, or even part-time, but every once in a while, I'd like to write about something in esports that interests me. This new article functionality will allow me to do that. I may have the option to do "guest posting" in the future, but for the time being, the only writer for this site will be me.
